House Guests in Banyuls Sur Mer

After spending the day in Carcassonne, we made our way down to the coast, to a tiny village on the Mediterranean, just this side of the French border from Spain. We had been invited to spend the night as the guests of a couple of Canadians, old friends of my Mother’s, who spend six months of the year in Banyuls. We arrived late to discover we were part of an imminent dinner party with guests pouring in the door just after us. The girls were elated that they were welcome guests at the party, and sang a few numbers with Thomson playing accompaniment on the piano. Posted by Picasa
