Pisa. Not Pizza!

By Hannah and Bronwyn.

Bronwyn: “I saw the Leaning Tower of Pisa. And it’s not pizza. I went to the Duomo.”

Hannah: “But she’s talking about the Duomo in Florence.”

Bronwyn: “I am talking about the Duomo in Florence.”

Hannah: “The Leaning Tower is lots of arches in a circle, stacked on top of each other in a big tower, and there is a bell at the top in the middle.”

Bronwyn: “The Eiffel Tower is built because they were having a festival and that’s where they were having it, in Paris.”

Hannah: “It is very beautiful near the Leaning Tower of Pisa. There’s a church and a baptistery, very, very, very close.”

Bronwyn: “I used to think the Eiffel Tower was for people to look at it, but now my Mom taught me that it’s when people had a festival.”

Hannah: “Daddy and I wanted to climb the tower of Pisa (not Pizza!). By the time we got to the ticket booth to get our tickets, all the tickets to climb the tower were sold out. I was too young to go up anyways. You have to be 8 years old, or older, to climb the Leaning Tower of Pisa. I felt pretty sad, but Daddy gave me a piggy-back ride instead. Daddy was a little happy the tickets were sold out because the tickets cost fifteen Euros per person!”

Bronwyn: “I really like Italy and France, but I don’t know why, but I don’t like school in France because everything is in French. Everything! Victoria is my best friend and she’s doesn’t speak any English.” Posted by Picasa
